Your responsibilities:
- Main fields of work: Metal material processing (e.g. forming, machining, forging, casting, heat treatment and chemical surface treatment), Assembly of composite structures, Chemical processing (e.g. painting) of composite parts
- Responsibility for FACC material- and process specifications and respective test campaigns to validate included technical requirements
- Responsibility for material - and process qualifications & certifications on development projects for the Aviation-, Space- and Urban Mobility industry
- Support of the product development departments (e.g. Design, Stress, Qualification) on new projects to define suitable materials and processes for internal and external production
- Technical support for internal and external process audits (e.g. NADCAP)
- Support on technical problems with materials and/or processes to determine the root cause and to initiate measures for resolution
- Technical support for the supplier nomination process and qualification
- Technical support for FACC customers on material & process topics
- Development and progression of expertise for materials and processes in the Aviation-, Space- and Urban Mobility industry
- MRB (material review board) tasks for material or process deviations
Your profile:
- Completed studies (e.g. Aviation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metal – or Plastics Engineering) or professional technical qualification with multiple years of experience
- Minimum 3-5 years technical experience in the aerospace industry is beneficial
- Advanced English skills in speech and writing
- Pro-active acting and self-reliant working
- Hands-on mentality
- Advanced IT-Knowledge (e.g. MS Office)
- Experience with Six Sigma and the respective tools is beneficial

Your annual salary is based on your previous professional experience and educational level and ranges between € 50.000,- und € 80.000,- gross pa. full-time basis.
