Stefan Leirich from Peuerbach is FACC’s 2,500th employee

On 4 November FACC AG’s 2,500th employee in Austria started work. Stefan Leirich from Peuerbach is thus the poster child for the company’s successful growth. Helmut Andexer, Vice President of Human Resources, presented the young program engineer with a certificate and a gift.

“I was looking forward to starting work at FACC. The award came as a complete surprise. I didn’t know that I was the 2,500th employee. But it’s wonderful to be honoured before even starting work,” quipped the visibly surprised Stefan Leirich. Originally from Peuerbach, after his apprenticeship as a mechanical technician he graduated in Innovation and Product Management from the Wels University of the Applied Sciences. On 4 November he was greeted with a gift upon showing up for his first day of work as a program engineer. Helmut Andexer, Vice President of Human Resources also presented him with a certificate.

As the 2,500th employee in Austria he is representative of the growth of FACC AG. Within 24 years the company has become one of Upper Austria’s most important employers. “This growth is excellent confirmation for us as employers,” Helmut Andexer is delighted. “Our extensive efforts together with the team to create an excellent environment has demonstrably borne fruit,” said Andexer. The 2,500th employee in Austria is a further milestone for the company, which employs a staff of 2,800 employees from 35 nations, who bring their expertise to bear in branch offices and plants on three continents. In Austria FACC runs five plants in Innviertel and an engineering centre in Vienna.
