Minfen Gu appointed as new member of the Board of Directors at FACC AG

Der Aufsichtsrat der FACC AG ernannte Diplom-Kauffrau Minfen Gu zum zukünftigen Finanzvorstand des Unternehmens.

In this function, she will be responsible for finance, accounting, controlling, treasury, risk management and associated companies. Minfen Gu will join the board of directors of FACC AG as of March 1, 2011 replacing Bernhard Matzner as CFO, who will assume financial functions in the group. 

International experience and wide range of management knowledge

The German national Minfen Gu, aged 45, previously held various positions in auditing, finance & accounting and controlling where she gained a great deal of experience abroad and a comprehensive range of management knowledge. From 2007 to 2010, she worked as head of controlling for the Asia Pacific region in the Business Unit Performance Polymers of Evonik Degussa (China) Co., Ltd, in Shanghai, PRC. From 2002 to 2007 - before being posted in Shanghai -, Minfen Gu was key accountant in the Department of General Ledger, Accounting & Tax Services of RAG Service GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, providing financial services to Degussa AG. From 1999 to 2002, she worked as auditor and audit manager with Ernst&Young AG, Frankfurt, Germany. From 1988 to 1993, Minfen Gu worked with the Foreign Economic and Trade Commission, Zhejiang, China, as a managing project official in the department of foreign economic affairs.

Minfen Gu received a bachelor's degree in 1985 and a masters' degree in 1988 from the Zhejiang University, PRC. In 1999 she obtained a master's degree in financial accounting from the Justus-Liebig University Gießen, Germany.
