The know-how, experience, teamwork and innovative capabilities of its employees are one of FACC's key success factors: experienced employees in particular contribute significantly to the company's success and create a corporate climate allowing innovations to flourish. With its new LIFE program, FACC has developed a package of measures, based on five pillars, which bundles all existing and future measures and is available to the entire crew. The focus is on supporting the entire workforce with individualized offerings and encouraging the personal development of every single employee.
Within the newly defined core areas - family, social matters, health, sustainability and careers - this offering will continue to be expanded in a targeted manner in the future. "We wish to provide our employees with the best possible support throughout their working lives, taking into account their personal circumstances," emphasizes CEO Robert Machtlinger. The goal is to provide the broadest possible support to staff, thus ensuring that they fully identify with the long-term goals and opportunities of FACC as an employer: "We are proud that many members of staff have been part of FACC's development for 10, 20 or 30 years, or even longer," says Machtlinger. With this set of measures, important steps are being taken to further increase the attractiveness of FACC as a leading company in the region in the future.
The package of measures in detail:
- Family life: The FACC Kids Club offers full-day childcare to all employees, even during school vacations. In addition, all members of staff receive an extra day off on their birthday. The numerous measures offered also include modern and highly individualized working time models: around 300 different models are currently available in the company. In this way, FACC supports families by providing them with as much flexibility as possible in organizing their daily lives.
- Social life: FACC offers a platform for personal dialog with numerous employee events throughout the year. In addition to annual highlights such as the Christmas party and summer festival, these also include discussion forums such as the Flight Club, where renowned speakers are invited to discuss topical issues at regular intervals. The company also offers Internationals its own networking formats.
- Healthy life: With a wide range of sporting activities on offer, ranging from yoga classes to sponsored participation in track competitions, FACC also pays special attention to its employees' health. A team of in-house physicians and occupational psychologists is available to all employees for personal consultations. Free vaccinations (e.g. TBE, flu, ...) are also part of the services that are offered.
- Green life: Sustainability, in particular sustainable mobility, has been a top priority at FACC for many years. By giving employees the opportunity to lease a company bike at attractive rates or to obtain an electric car for their daily commute to work, FACC is setting a completely new course in this area.
- Professional life: A career requires planning. By creating transparent and structured career paths (management, expert or project career), every employee is given the opportunity for professional development. To this end, the entire workforce has access to the FACC Academy, which offers customized further education and training opportunities - including scholarships for universities of applied sciences.
