In the third quarter of 2022, FACC AG recorded a significant increase in revenue of 26.6% compared to the same period of the previous year. In the first nine months of 2022, the company generated revenue of EUR 419.6 million, representing an increase of 17.1%, and EBIT amounting to EUR 4.2 million.
Growth course continues
The aviation industry continued on its growth path in the third quarter as planned - demand for new and low-emission aircraft has significantly increased internationally. An additional 500 members of staff will be required over the next 18 months for the ongoing production ramp-up in all FACC divisions - more than 250 new employees have been successfully recruited since January 2022.
Space and Urban Air Mobility as new business segments
In the new business segments Space and Urban Air Mobility the work on the acquired projects is proceeding according to plan. FACC remains on track to significantly expand its production volume in the new business segments with innovative lightweight solutions.
Outlook
With revenue projected to grow by approximately 10% to EUR 550 million, and EBIT in the low double-digit million range, the outlook for the 2022 financial year remains unchanged. The focus in the fourth quarter of 2022 will be on increasing production rates as planned and implementing further measures to enhance efficiency. FACC continues to expect revenue to return to pre-crisis levels in 2024 - 2025.
