FACC honors suppliers with “Supplier Excellence Awards”

As a leading technology partner of the aerospace industry, FACC relies on worldwide cooperations with strong premium partners: for the 13th time, the best suppliers were presented with the „Supplier Excellence Awards“ in gold, silver and bronze, as well as the „Special Performance Award“.

Every year, FACC distinguishes suppliers who offer outstanding performances in the fields of product quality, flexibility, cooperation, customer service, as well as cost-cutting and process-optimizing measures. “Our success is determined by our worldwide FACC crew, but also by our partners. Therefore, it is very important to us to put them center stage and show them our appreciation”, says Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC, on the occasion of the Supplier Awards ceremony.

FACC bestows awards in bronze, silver, and gold
Manufacturing top products requires a continuous, high-quality and perfectly functioning process chain. Therefore, suppliers ensuring delivery reliability, premium quality, and sustainable products are a decisive competitive factor. The enterprises awarded this year have proven themselves in all these aspects.

As the best supplier, SACS gained the “Supplier Excellence Award” in gold. The system specialist from Germany produces fastening components and connecting parts and offers state-of-the-art technology, sound expertise, in-house tool making and machine construction, as well as a perfectly functioning supply chain.

Milltech GmbH produces complex lathed and milled parts of highest precision according to premium standards. The Upper Austrian enterprise received the “Supplier Excellence Award” in silver.

The „Excellence Supplier Award“ in bronze was presented to DELO, a “hidden champion” from the German Ammersee region. DELO is a leading manufacturer of industrial adhesives who has been a supplier of customized special adhesives and device systems for applications in the high-tech industry for 50 years.

Once again, a “Special Performance Award” was bestowed which went to an Austrian company this year. FACC distinguished the Upper Austrian enterprise Felbermayr with the “Special Performance Award” for implementing designed complete solutions in the field of transport. Starting as a local fleet operator, Felbermayr has successfully developed and established itself as an international industrial service provider.

Successful supply chain with hundreds of suppliers worldwide
FACC cooperates with some 600 suppliers from all product and production sectors around the world. For manufacturing the innovative lightweight components and systems, mainly metal and plastic purchased parts as well as various raw materials for production such as pre-pregs and honeycomb cores are procured. The primary market for purchases is Europe, where approximately 60 percent of the products come from. But goods are also imported from the USA, the Middle East, Canada, and India.
