Embraer has honoured FACC with the Best Supplier Award in the category "Structures". The strategic partnership with FACC will be further strengthened, as FACC has been accepted as a member of the Supplier Advisory Council of the world's third-largest aircraft manufacturer. The contract for the development and production of components for Eve Air Mobility’s eVTOL as well reflects the extension of the cooperation between FACC and Embraer.

Embraer is a global aerospace company headquartered in Brazil that has businesses in Commercial and Executive aviation, Defense and Security, and Agricultural Aviation. During the annual Embraer Suppliers Conference of Embraer in Brazil, FACC has been awarded with the Best Supplier Award in the category Structures. The event took place on April 29th and 30th and especially highlighted enterprise efficiency as a key asset for the success of the aerospace industry.

Additionally FACC has been accepted as a member of Embraer’s Supplier Advisory Council, a strategic committee in which the awarded suppliers participate with Embraer's senior leadership, to collaboratively discuss challenges, opportunities and strategies to unlock Embraer’s full potential.

FACC as leading supplier of Embraer in Austria

FACC has been supplying products and solutions to Embraer for many years, including key wing components such as spoilers and ailerons. Besides Aerostructures, FACC is Embraers Tier-1 supplier for Business Jet Interior Solutions. Due to strong rate increases, this collaboration will be further expanded and FACC’s production volume for Embraer will increase significantly. In Austria, FACC is the largest supplier of Embraer, a partnership other austrian companies are benefiting of as a result from subcontracts FACC has in place with austrian suppliers as F/LIST, Antemo, Isovolta and many others.

Future Mobility

At the beginning of this year, FACC has received an order from Eve Air Mobility – a company founded by Embraer – for the manufacturing of essential components for the company’s eVTOL. This includes the development and production of the horizontal and the vertical tail and its moveables (rudder and elevator) as well as the aileron. This contract further demonstrates the close cooperation in the new growth sector Urban Air Mobility.
