Following the first reports of the earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria, employees of FACC AG started a charity campaign and sent relief supplies to the affected regions.
In response to the earthquake disaster in Turkey, employees of FACC AG organized an aid shipment to Turkey and Syria. Over the course of just a few days, around 3,000 FACC employees relief goods, which were loaded into a 40t truck and transported to a distribution center in Turkey. To provide immediate aid, warm clothing, woolen blankets and shoes were collected on site.
The relief campaign of the FACC crew was supported, in particular, by FACC's logistics experts. The relief goods were sorted and stowed in space-saving boxes that are normally used to transport
high-tech aerospace components. They were then shipped to the crisis region.
"The catastrophic situation and human suffering in the earthquake zones within Turkey and Syria are very distressing. We wish to make a contribution by providing rapid assistance to the people affected by this difficult situation," says FACC COO Andreas Ockel.
