Ried i. Innkreis - The supervisory board of FACC AG appointed Mr. Andreas Ockel (51) as new member of the management board of FACC AG. Mr. Ockel, starting his function as newly appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FACC AG as of January 1, 2018 for a period of three years, succeeds Mr. Robert Machtlinger, who himself was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FACC AG in February 2017.

Andreas Ockel, a German born 1966 in Budapest, holds master's degrees as Dipl.-Ing. Univ. and Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing (FH); in electrical engineering from UniBw Muenchen (GER) and in business administration and engineering from AKAD University Lahr (GER), respectively.

Andreas Ockel, since 2009 vice president at AIRBUS, is currently accountable as general manager of the Airbus (Tianjin) Final Assembly Co., Ltd. for the final assembly of A320 Family aircraft in China and he prepares the joint venture company for the launch of the A330 completion and delivery center towards the end of this year. Before that the former NATO helicopter pilot was, for a period of eleven years, working for BMW Group in various management positions in Germany as well as in China.
