Change in the Management Board at FACC

Thomas Pleli resigns from the Management Board, Robert Machtlinger appointed as successor

Ing. Thomas Pleli, Chief Operating Officer of FACC AG, will resign from the services of the company as of September 30, 2011 at his own request and by mutually amicable agreement. He will be succeeded by Robert Machtlinger.
During his term of office, Thomas Pleli has always stood up with all his energy for the interests of the company, its shareholders and employees and has essentially contributed to the success of FACC over the past four years. The Supervisory Board as well as the Management Board express their great respect for his commitment and achievements and extend their thanks to him.
In the today's meeting, the Supervisory Board has elected Robert Machtlinger (44) as Chief Operating Officer as of October 1, 2011. He has been working for FACC since 1988, where he has held various management positions during his professional career. In 2001, Robert Machtlinger took over as Vice President of the Structures division that he has consequently expanded and managed in an exemplary way. Thanks to his international experience and his knowledge of the aerospace business, he has created many new and significant business ties for FACC which will ensure the profitable growth of the company.
The Supervisory Board confirmed Dipl-Ing. Walter Stephan as Chief Executive Officer for another term of office.
