Since 2010, FACC employees have been getting an extra day off on their birthday in addition to their vacation allowance. “For us, this is not simply a voluntary perk. With this gesture, we would like to express our gratitude for the commitment and dedication of every single team member,” Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC, stressed.

Wolfgang Hochreiner, Group Lead Competence Center Aerostructures at FACC, spends his additional day off in a traditional way: “My birthday is a very personal holiday which I like to celebrate with my family – with a birthday cake, coffee and a glass of champagne. I think the birthday holiday scheme is very family-friendly.” Laura Stangl, who mainly supervises Airbus projects as Quality Engineer at FACC, is of a similar opinion: “It is really cool that you can spend time with friends on your birthday – even during the week!”

In addition to the birthday holiday, the FACC crew enjoys many other employee benefits. Fitness center fees, for instance, are reduced by 50%. Cheap and healthy lunches can be had at all FACC locations. Talking about health: FACC has made health awareness an integral part of its corporate culture with the launch of the “Healthy & Satisfied” project, which was awarded the seal of quality for workplace health promotion this year.
