Alexander Hochmeier joined FACC AG at the beginning of October as the new Head of IT. The 40-year-old native of Upper Austria can look back on more than 20 years of professional experience in the fields of information technology and digitization. His most recent position was IT Director of Hofer KG in Austria. Mr. Hochmeier reports to Aleš Stárek, CFO of the globally active aerospace group.

Before joining FACC, Alexander Hochmeier served as IT Director at Hofer KG in Austria, where his managerial responsibilities included the implementation of IT renewal and digitization projects. Prior to that, he held various senior IT project management positions at SKIDATA, voestalpine and Infoniqa, among others. Alexander Hochmeier also completed a part-time bachelor's degree in Marketing & Electronic Business and a master's degree in Supply Chain Management at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Mr. Hochmeier continued his scientific career as a part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Steyr and as an author of several academic papers on the topic of "Enterprise 2.0".

In his new function, Alexander Hochmeier is responsible for the global IT strategy of FACC AG and the implementation of new IT technologies, IT solutions and other relevant services. "I am very much looking forward to preparing FACC for the digital challenges that lie ahead together with my team. As a strategic business partner, we wish to provide a sustainable IT architecture and system landscape for both customers and suppliers in order to successfully guide the company through the digital transformation process and support its growth course," Alexander Hochmeier commented with regard to his new appointment.
