Yesterday, the ATX Committee of the Vienna Stock Exchange decided that FACC AG will be included in the ATX, the leading index of the Vienna Stock Exchange, effective 19 March 2018. The ATX (Austrian Traded Index) comprises the 20 most liquid stocks on the Prime Market of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
“We are very happy about the inclusion in the blue chip segment, comprising the 20 largest and most traded companies on the Vienna Stock Exchange,” says Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC. “The inclusion in the ATX index is a milestone in the company's history and reflects the successful development of our company on the capital market in recent months. Through a clear and focused implementation of our corporate strategies, we were able to successfully continue on our growth course and further expand our position as a leading company in the industry. As one of the aerospace technology leaders, FACC offers a highly attractive product portfolio and has strong international market positions in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific. The reputation of FACC on the capital market will be further strengthened by the inclusion in the ATX index.”
In recent months, FACC has always been one of the 25 companies with the highest turnover in the prime market. The average daily trading volume on the Vienna Stock Exchange was around EUR 2.5 million, and the market capitalization of the free float amounted to EUR 436 million at the end of February 2018. The free float is currently 45 percent. The excellent share performance was the basis for FACC to be the first company in the aerospace supply industry to join the ATX index.
