90 loyal contributors honoured for their 1165 years of experience

On 4 October, Upper Austrian aviation industry supplier FACC AG invited its well-deserving employees to the “Zum Streif” inn to honour them. This year 90 employees celebrated a total of 1165 years of service to the company. The directors of FACC expressed their personal gratitude on behalf of FACC to employees celebrating anniversaries with the company, thanking them for their loyalty.

An event was held on 4 October 2013 in the “Zum Streif” inn in Utzenaich to honour long-term FACC employees. This year a total of 90 people celebrated their ten to 35 year anniversaries of service to the company. Directors Walter A. Stephan and Robert Machtlinger personally presented the certificates and were delighted with the loyalty to the company. “1165 years of experience are priceless for FACC. We thank all our employees, who have so faithfully accompanied our success story. Loyal employees are also an excellent confirmation for the company and FACC is delighted.”

Attractive and successful employer

FACC AG has a staff of around 2400 employees in Austria. Particularly in Innviertel the company is one of the most important employers. “We know that contented employees are an important success factor. The large number of people celebrating anniversaries is wonderful proof that FACC is an attractive employer and the company offers people excellent prospects,” said Helmut Andexer, Vice President of Human Resources at FACC. The topic of employee satisfaction plays an important role in the company. Hundreds of employees are currently working together on projects, such as “G´sund & zufrieden”, [Healthy and satisfied] which elicit challenges faced by the company and develop specific proposals for improvement. The major premises are to continue to improve the work environment and processes and optimise internal communication. Social benefits, such as discounted lunch menus, partial payments for fitness centre admissions or a day off on birthdays have been extremely popular at FACC for years. In this way the company thanks its employees for their valuable commitment.

Success as a security factor

In addition to its campaigns promoting employee satisfaction and the in-house possibilities for further training, the company’s growth is an important factor for its employees. In September FACC opened its fifth plant in Innviertel. This further milestone was celebrated with a major employee party attended by 2500 guests. Large orders from customers, such as Airbus and Boeing, bear witness to the high quality the company offers. “The interplay of training, satisfaction, experience and perfection is key for the company. Our customers appreciate this combination,” said Helmut Andexer, “Along these lines, we are looking forward to holding many more tributes to long-term employees in the years to come.”
