1,930 years of experience – FACC honors long-serving employees

"1,930 years of experience is a priceless asset for FACC. Thank you so much for your loyalty to the company and your dedication," the delighted directors Walter A. Stephan and Robert Machtlinger said at the anniversary celebration. On October 10, 2014, they honored longstanding FACC employees at the "Zum Streif" inn in Utzenaich. A total of 151 colleagues are celebrating between 10 and 30 years of company service this year. The directors presented certificates and enjoyed the party with the longstanding employees: "This is a great endorsement for the company."

Attractive and successful employer
FACC employs a workforce of around 2,800 staff in Austria. "The large number of employees celebrating anniversaries is excellent proof of the attractiveness of FACC as an employer that offers people outstanding prospects and recognizes its responsibility to society," says Helmut Andexer, Vice President Human Resources at FACC. In recent years, hundreds of colleagues have taken part in such projects as "Healthy & Satisfied". HR manager Martina Thöress-Kofler, herself one of the honored longstanding employees, confirms the company's commitment: "We invest a great deal in the satisfaction and training of our Crew. They possess the necessary knowledge for our success. The fact that I'm being honored this year as well makes me particularly happy." Alongside such fringe benefits as subsidized lunch menus, support with fitness center admission, and a day off on their birthday, a comprehensive training program also forms the core of the company's commitment to its Crew. "Not only do we need optimally trained professionals in the company, but also strong personalities. As one of the most important employers in the Innviertel region, we clearly appreciate our social responsibility to the community. All these measures safeguard the growth of FACC and therefore the prospects of all our employees as well. At a time when well-trained workers are a rarity in some places, we can be proud of the valuable expertise of the FACC Crew," emphasizes Helmut Andexer. Apart from technical training courses, FACC also offers personal coaching with external trainers. Employees can also take part in voluntary training, thereby improving their chances of promotion within the company.
