Structural Analysis Engineer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Preliminary holistic evaluation of the design from a structural perspective: structural soundness, load-paths, interfaces, joints, etc.
  • Preparation of Finite Element Models (FEM) mostly for Nastran, starting from a CAD file (Abaqus and/or Ansys is a plus)
  • Execution of structural analysis with FE and analytical methods (composite, metal)
  • Carrying out modal analysis, stability analyses, fatigue calculations, etc.
  • Preparation and controlling of stress reports for certification
  • Support for preparation of documentation and follow-up of component and sub-component tests
  • Support of material test campaigns and allowable generation by statistical means
  • Assessment of the usability of components subject to manufacturing deviations in accordance with FACC's internal and/or customer specifications, preparing dispositions
  • Determination and verification of permitted and repairable damage , as well as suitable repair methods based on calculation and tests
  • Reporting the status of the work, solutions, as well as possible problems to the supervisor
  • Continuous learning and implementation of the evolving technological possibilities

Your profile:

  • Technical university or university of applied sciences degree (Master, DI(FH), DI) in the fields of aeronautics, or mechanical engineering.
  • Good understanding of structural mechanics and FEA
  • Minimum 5 years aeronautical experience
  • Hypermesh and Nastran as daily use, Abaqus and/or Ansys as a plus
  • English (spoken and written), German is a plus
  • High communication and coordination skills
  • Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Multitasking persons have a plus

Your annual salary is based on your previous professional experience and educational level and ranges between € 44.800,- and € 70.000,- gross pa. full-time basis.
